Adding an RSS feed

Add dynamic information to your website, your site updates when the RSS feed is updated.

An RSS feed is ideal for displaying dynamic content that updates whenever the RSS feed itself is updated. Many websites provide RSS feeds, which will allow you to keep your customers informed of any changes to news headlines, blogs, cinema and theatre listings, gigs, calendars, restaurant menus, etc. The list is endless, and your page will update automatically whenever the RSS feed is updated.

Adding an RSS feed

Click the Site Add-Ons button at the bottom of the page.

Choose where on the page you would like to add the guestbook by clicking one of the Add it here buttons.

Click on the Cool Content tab, locate the Add an RSS feed to your site option, and click Add.

Enter the details of the RSS feed you want to add:
  • URL: Enter the full address of the RSS feed you want to display, including the http:// prefix. 
  • Sample RSS feeds: You can select one of the sample RSS feeds fromthe drop down instead of entering your own.
  • Maximum rows of items to display: Select to display all items in the feed, or limit to 5 or 10 headlines.
  • RSS Layout: Select the number of columns you want the feed to be displayed in.
When you've entered all the required information click the Ok button.

The RSS feed will be added to the page.
